BLNA Meetings Schedule & Location

The Buckingham Lake Neighborhood Association meets the second Thursday of every other month. 

 

All members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.  If you would like to speak or present at an upcoming BLNA meeting, please email us at info@blnaofalbany.org 

 

The meetings schedule for the Fall of 2017 and Winter/Spring of 2018 is as follows:

Thursday, 3/8/18 at 6:30 pm

Thursday, 5/10/18 at 6:30 pm

 

The meetings will be held at the Pine Hills Branch of the Albany Public Library, 517 Western Avenue, Albany, NY.

 

June 8, 2017 Meeting Has Been Postponed

Due to logistical issues, the BLNA meeting planned for June 8, 2017 with Mayor Sheehan and APD is postponed with a new date TBD.

BLNA encourages you to support the City Hall on the Road event that will be held June 5, 2017 at Mater Christi. Please attend - City Hall puts a lot of effort into these events and it really is a unique opportunity to talk directly with City departments about issues important to you.

Times Union Article Published Following BLNA Meeting with Albany Police Chief Brendan J. Cox

APD Chief Brendan J. Cox  with residents who live on Krumkill Rd., Friebel Rd., Tampa Ave. and Buckingham Dr. Tuesday, December 13, 2016 to discuss the recent changes there and the overall traffic volume, speed and safety issues.

 

Following the meeting, the Times Union newspaper published an article discussing the concerns of the residents who attended the meeting.

The most recent meeting of the Buckingham Lake Neighborhood Association took place Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the Albany Elks Lodge #49, 25 South Allen Street, Albany, New York.

Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan attended and presented at the 5-15-16 BLNA meeting.

The Spring neighborhood meeting of the Buckingham Lake Neighborhood Association took place Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the Bethany Reformed Church, 760 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, New York.  Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan attended the meeting and talked with members of the BLNA about issues and concerns that pertain to our neighborhoods.

 

The Buckingham Lake Neighborhood Association is a separate and distinct organization from the Buckingham Pond Conservancy.
